Releasenotes

Version 0.3

Core Features:

  • Login dialog (logout link)
    • Edit/page Setup and Settings pages require login (add users through the new user admin plugin)
  • Shortcut icons for wiki tags on the edit page
  • Effects markup: Folded text, pop-up
  • OneApp style that uses only one application (good when using RADWiki as a portal)
  • Pages can now have attachments. Add/delete files through the Page Setup page
    • Links to attachments can be added with one-clicks on the edit page
  • The Text_Wiki library is now included, so there is no need to install PEAR although there is an option to use a local PEAR repository.

Plugins

  • User administration plugin
  • Plugin for edit shortcut icons setup
  • The album plugin can now use images attached to a page. Thumbnails can be refreshed by deleting them through the Page Setup page
  • !AutoTable plugin. Clicking on columns no longer opens the record viewer, added icon for that purpose. Columns can have links by adding urls in brackets like this: [http://my_url my_url_description]

Other (non-functionality specific)

  • Documentation has been updated. Most of it has been put into a user guide which can be downloaded from radwiki.wikidot.com or SourceForge. It is also available in the installation package.

Problems

  • RADWiki looks horrible when using Internet Explorer. The layout and CSS needs to be worked over to improve this. Currently Firefox is the recommended browser.

Version 0.2

Core Features:

  • A page revision system. Keep a configurable number of versions of a page
  • plugin (and framework) localization system
  • Updated guides for installation, applications and plugins
  • Improved CSS
  • Showcase application for all plugins
  • Fixed numerous bugs

Plugins

  • Auto record plugin
  • Plugin admistration system (Plugin Settings)

Other (non-functionality specific)

  • Windows package with Server + RADWiki for easy installation

Problems

  • Things don't always look so good in "Internet Explorer" because of it's lack of proper PNG transparency support. Have to decide whether to use some CSS hack or just resort to GIFs.
